just like different fishes can be found in different grounds, also the acoustic tales of the micronaut take place in different regions of the emotional landscape: sometimes warm, sometimes fresh – sometimes calm and stagnant, sometimes lively and floating. and just like all the fishes are connected by the water surrounding them, also this album has its connecting element: a very individual and independent groove. this groove comes with a lot of surprises. for instance, when a guitar chord from the acoustic band atmosphere of gruen- dling suddenly gets tangled up in a loop and introduces an unexpected but coherent change into the direction of broken, electronic beats. or when the emotional world music elements of schleie mix up with exciting halfstep rhythms. sophi- sticated arrangements, unusual instrumentations and intense emotions- these are the main attributes of friedfisch . though the experimental character of this work does not really aim the dance floor, it still keeps connected to this place: two sensitive remixes by mollono.bass represent the upbeat for an entire series, being exclusively released on vinyl.

clone classic cuts serves another cult italo disco classic! gorgeous female vocals slapped on that lovely 80 s synthesizer/drum programming. this is one of those releases that easily makes it into the top 50 of all time greatest italo disco songs. produced by roberto ferrante (also known for his pinneaples project) and originally released on the obscure airport label in 1984. we managed to restore and re-master the original versions and the lovely paris mix. on top of the original versions we serve you a new re-rub by italian italo specialist bottin (eskimo, artifacts etc). bottin did a great job with a new crazy soundhack mix that cranks up the energy level and makes it more jackin. pretty amazing when you realize that these tracks are making people dance for 28 years now. more then enough reason for a proper re-release on high quality vinyl. enjoy!

another epic seahawks voyage and this time theyre heading for the deep ocean of outer space. the results have been likened to the klfs chill out album performed by astroanuts. yep its that spacey but theres plenty of baked groove excursions along with the cosmic dinner jazz. imagine that instead of creating yah mo be there, michael mcdonald and james ingram hopped aboard a spaceship captained by sun ra and set the controls for alpha centauri. somewhere between the sea of tranquillity and the red heat of mars they find a party going on, klaus schulze is jamming with chic and peter frampton, kenny loggins is on bongos and the horn section from the doobie brothers are blowing soft and sweet but mike and jim have taken a whole lot of mind bending psychotropics and the music sounds like nothing theyve ever heard before. you are entering the seahawks universe, let your mind roam free. to ensure premium audio fidelity, the lp was mastered at abbey road and pressed at vinyl factory. as ever the artwork is beautiful and the edition is limited so get your skates on!
